This Jury brought in the following special verdict, viz.\n\u201cThe jury worn, find the defendant guilty, and assess the plain\u201ctiff's damage to \u00a3, 4 and 6d. costs: subject to the opinion of the \"Court, on the following case. The plaintiff owned a boat, which \u201cdrifted down the river, and was taken up by the defendant, who \u201cclaimed salvage, and accordingly refused to restore it, until that \u201cwas paid.\u201d"
